đź“ŤParallel Marches from Eleutheria Square & Kugulu Park to Ledra Palace Buffer Zone!
United by Pride is proud to announce its return for the fourth consecutive year on 27 September 2025, once again bringing together LGBTQIA+ people from Greek and Turkish-speaking communities, as well as from all across Cyprus. The gathering will take place in the Ledra Palace UN-administered buffer zone, a symbolic space of encounter and coexistence.
At a time when global and regional tensions continue to fuel injustice, repression, and political stagnation, United by Pride 2025 stands as a beacon of hope and resilience. Its mission is clear: to promote multicultural coexistence, to place human rights and tolerance at the forefront, and to affirm that we are still here, and we are still marching for peace, reunification, queer liberation, and collective justice.
Staying true to its roots, the Pride will feature two parallel marches, departing at 18:00 from Eleftheria Square and Kuğulu Park on both sides of the divide. The marches will converge at the Ledra Palace Buffer Zone, a place where the island’s communities will stand together in unity no matter where on the island we live to protest, to celebrate, and to reaffirm their shared commitment to equality and justice.
This year’s program includes live performances, a full stage show with dedicated hosts, DJ sets, and a live band, alongside a series of pre-Pride events in the days leading up to the main march.
More than a celebration, United by Pride is a space of politics, joy, memory, and struggle. It is deeply rooted in the values of anti-racism, decolonisation, demilitarisation, self-determination, and grassroots organising. In a time of growing hardship and repression, our united presence across the divide sends a powerful and unmistakable message: change is possible and it is already in motion.
